Matutunghayan dito ay ang napakalinis na pinagsamang tubig tabang na nagbuhat pa sa bayan ng Alfonso, Magallanez, Indang at Maragondon at tubig alat na nagmula naman sa karagatan ng Manila Bay.

The picture shown above is the river between the Balot Island and town proper of Ternate. Those boats as you can see from the distance are used for by the fisherman for fishing which is they call it "PANTI".

Every year in the afternoon of January 5 and 6 the Santo Niño of Aglipay and Romano will start the procession from their respective church and will head to small docking area close to the house of former town mayor Rodolfo de Leon, then would be embarked to a large boat for the start of the procession on this river, then it will end at San Jose beach. Both Santo Niño will be disembarking then the procession will start again on the street at barrio San Jose going back to the town proper.

The procession or caracol is also celebrated on this river as a tradition for the fisherman to catch many fish.

This is we always catch the crab (alimasag) and mudfish with bare hands and also with the help of our foot.

The river is very rich with fish, clam, mudfish, shrimp and crab, they can be catch with the old tradional sakag, panti, tahraya, bintol and sugapa.

Pictures were taken in January 5, 2005.

Ang nakikita mong larawan ay ang ilog na papunta sa bayan ng Maragondon, dito ay naghalo ang tubig tabang at tubig alat...

The picture shown above is the river leading to the town of Maragondon.

Amazingly the water is mixed (Salty and Fresh).

The source of fresh water is a stream coming from the upper land town of Alfonso, Magallanez, INDANG, and Maragondon, while the salt water is coming from the China Sea or Manila Bay while it's high tide.

Fish, shrimp, and shell especially the oyster from this river are very delicious.

The bridge where am standing at while taking this picture is the only inland route from the town of Ternate to Puerto Azul, Caylabne, Pico de Loro, etc and of course into barrio Sapang and Bucana de Sapang.

There are thousands of organizations, each with a specific purpose or goal. There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of an organization he or she believes in. By building an effective web site, we hope to get our message out to a larger audience of people interested in similar issues.
