Mr. Patrick O. Steinkrüger a world wide known linguistic from Germany, he visited
and stayed in Ternate for months to learn more about the Chavacano dialect.
Patrick is known to me for years, for some reason Tiong boy met Patrick in Ternate
While he (Patrick) is looking for beer or drink, last January 2006.
When Tiong boy came back from Ternate and as soon as he fully rested, he gave me
a phone call and asked me if I knew a gentlemen with the name of Patrick O. Steinkrüger. I said yes, and got surprised cause
Tiong Boy told me that Patrick is in Ternate, and hes is still doing his research and study of Ternate Chavacano. According
to tiong Boy, Patrick got surprise because he told him that he live not too far from us here in Carson California. Tiong Boy
they have a long conversation and Patrick ask him to help him translating few words to Ternate Chavacano.
Tiong boy gave the whole support to Patrick by translating tagalog and english language
to Ternate Chavacano. Patrick wrote me a letter stating that Tiong Boy is a big help to his project.
This is to let everyone know that Tiong Boy, fully help for the revival of Ternate Chavacano.
